Airat Ishmurzin becomes responsible for Gazprom Pererabotka

Airat Ishmurzin was elected Managing Director of Gazprom Pererabotka.

Airat Ishmurzin was born in 1972. He graduated from Kazan State Technological University, specializing in chemical technology of natural fuels and carbonaceous materials. He holds a doctorate in engineering.

He has worked at Gazprom for 26 years.

Between 1995 and 2008, he rose through the ranks, from processing unit operator to chief technician at Surgutgazprom’s Surgut condensate stabilization plant (later Gazprom Pererabotka’s Surgut condensate stabilization plant) .

2008–2012: deputy director of production; Chief engineer of the condensate stabilization plant in Surgut, Gazprom Pererabotka.

2012–2014: Chief Executive Officer of Gas, Gas and Oil Condensate Processing, Gas and Liquid Hydrocarbons Marketing and Processing Department, Gazprom.

2014–2021: Chief Engineer – First Deputy Managing Director, Gazprom Pererabotka.

Since November 2020, Airat Ishmurzin has served as Managing Director of Gazprom Pererabotka.
