(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) Hungarian authorities expect Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller to visit the country on September 27 to sign the long-term gas supply contract, the Hungarian minister said of Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto in an interview with TASS, Trend reports.

“I am happy to announce that next Monday CEO Alexei Miller will travel to Budapest to participate in the signing ceremony of the new long-term gas delivery agreement between Russia and Hungary, which means that from the October 1, 15 more years a long contract is in progress. We buy 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year. The delivery routes will pass through Austria and Serbia, “he said.

“Our cooperation with Russia on energy security is very fair, fruitful and Russia contributes a lot to ensuring Hungary’s energy security,” added the Minister.
